Spock doesn't know Bones has been called from the ship until after the fact, when the doctor is already on his way and there's a message in his inbox. He reads it on the way to the bridge and thinks, if he were inclined to believe inclined to believe in fate, he should take this as a sign that they were decidedly not fated to engage in the relationship they were now circling. Despite having the words already committed to eidetic memory, the Vulcan rereads the transmission again.

[ ooc; psl for unqualified_dr proceeding the events of this thread and in line with tautology verse.

spoo, feel free to keep tagging this comment with letters with the assumption spock won't respond to any of them if there's no questions for him to answer. I'll still have him respond at least mentally. ]

please take note the mun is currently working through other Trek series outside of TOS. this doesn't mean I don't want to play with such muses, I just feel obligated to pre-emptively warn about my possible lack of familiarity.

( canon & point ) Star Trek Reboot; available at any point, up to and after Star Trek XIII: Beyond; mun keeps up to date with the Ongoing comic series

( available au's ) mirror-verse; open to any proposed au suggestions

( shipping ) permission granted to all canon-mates to pursue a ship with mr. spock; however, given the nature of the character, please ask before pre-establishing a relationship ( unless uhura ) unless otherwise indicated by his being placed in a shipping meme.

I'm open to attempting cross-canon ships, too! however, please ask if that's your intention and spock is in a general meme.

( smut ) all smut will require cr unless spock is put into a meme specifically catering to smut; if he's in a smut meme, I am looking for canon-mate smut, but I'm willing to negotiate if you'd really like to give cross-canon a shot! kinks are negotiable; I'm usually flexible so long as it doesn't involve toilet things.

( everything else ) I'm open to all scenarios and all cross-canon cr. I have no triggers regarding violence, death, or any other dark themes. bring it all on!

( Basic Info )

( species ) Vulcan by initial designation; in fact Vulcan/Human hybrid
( affiliation ) Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets
( rank ) commander, first-officer of the USS Enterprise; science officer
( mission ) five-year exploratory mission into undiscovered space, where the Enterprise would act as ambassadors on behalf of the Federation when sentient species were found; generally this also involved managing the parties assigned on the outer edge of known space

( abilities ) highly trained intellect and control over emotions; physically superior to humans; able to withstand extreme conditions much better than humans ( particularly hot, dry, desert-like climates similar to Vulcan ); hand-to-hand combat training ( including Vulcan nerve pinch ); mind-melding; adaptive stomach; some other psionic abilities, usually touch-based, allowing for telepathy and suggestion, all of which seem to be relatively untrained in this Spock.

( weaknesses ) particularly sensitive to nitrous oxide gas; being half human presumably allows for more emotional availability; debatably pon farr ( mating drive ); being Vulcan and logic-based often means he takes things very literal and has a lowered sense of empathy. technically chocolate or high sugar content will get him drunk. Vulcans are hardier than humans, but still susceptible to being injured under extreme conditions ( high radiation exposure, being shot, etc ).

( physiology notes ) Vulcans are very similar to humans. aside from the obvious variation in their eyebrows and ears, Vulcans have green blood due to a higher concentration of copper and have little to no salt content. their hearts are about where the human liver would be expected to be.

( other notes; ) Spock is a vegetarian, albeit by choice, not out of necessity. his original form showed some signs of inebriation for the sugar content in peppermint, and it's alluded that chocolate will get him drunk. also keeping in line with his original, it's assumed Spock is a fan of literature, art, poetry, and music; supposedly his human lineage is descended from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

anything else, I trust you'll wiki or ask me
